Pat Petrus is a genre-bending drummer, producer, and songwriter hailing from Illinois and currently residing in New York City. As the co-lead of the queer punk project Low Presh, Petrus explodes across the stage as a kinetic force. As a bandleader and sideman in the New York City jazz scene, Petrus unlocks depths of nuance and sensitivity with his understated, textural playing. His work is equal parts cerebral and searing. He has appeared in venues such as The Deer Head Inn, The Django, Minton’s Playhouse, Arthur’s Tavern, and Room 623, as well as Bowery Ballroom, Rockwood Music Hall, The Mercury Lounge, and Our Wicked Lady
